Quarantine is not bad at all when your view is the water. We have been staying busy with small boat projects, work, reading, walking with the dogs, and exercise.
Something I have enjoyed since moving onboard (weather permitting) is Dock Yoga. I lay my mat down on the dock and do a 20-30 minute series of yoga, pilates, and deep stretches that work best for me and my body. I plan to keep this up while we are cruising — I’ll just put my mat on the fore deck and enjoy the view even more so!
I like doing this at time of the day when the weather feels just right. Sometimes that’s in the morning, and sometimes it’s during high noon. Here, it was late afternoon just shortly before the sun began to set.
My best buddy, Twinkle, enjoys just staying close by while I get my exercise in. We share no similar words, but we speak the same language.
